Richard Inglewood, Chairman
Richard Inglewood was appointed Chairman, in a non-executive capacity, in September 2005, having been a Non-Executive Director since September 2004. Lord Inglewood was a Conservative member of the European Parliament for 10 years, from 1989 to 1994 for Cumbria and North Lancashire and from 1999 to July 2004 for North West England. He has been a hereditary member of the House of Lords since 1989, Chairman of the Reviewing Committee on the Export of Works of Art since 2003, and a non-executive Director of CN Group Limited (local media) in Cumbria since 1997 (Chairman since 2002).

Chris Holmes, CEO
Chris Holmes joined Carr's in January 1991 and was appointed to the Board in January 1992 and as CEO in September 1994. Previously, he held senior management positions in the agricultural division of J Bibby & Sons.
Ron Wood, Finance Director
Ron Wood, ACMA joined Carr's in October 1987 and was appointed to the Board as Finance Director in January 1988 and is also Company Secretary. From 1985 to 1987, he was Finance Director of the Detergents Division of Albright & Wilson and from 1982 to 1985 he was Finance Director of Cape Insulation.
Non-Executive
Robert Heygate, Non-Executive Director
Robert Heygate has been a Non-Executive Director since 1991. He is also an Executive Director of Heygate & Sons, the UK's largest independent flour miller, which is also engaged in animal feed compounding and other agricultural activities.
Alistair Wannop, Non-Executive Director
Alistair Wannop has been a Non-Executive Director since September 2005. He is also a Director of English Food and Farming Partnership, of Rural Regeneration Cumbria and of Cumbria Vision. He has been County Chairman of the NFU, as well as County Milk Delegate to NFU Headquarters, and Chairman of the Minister of Agriculture's regional advisory panel.
